1930-2015
How to start. My Dad died today 1/27/15 , I have loved him my whole life and will continue to love him.
Dementia is a piece of shite but as with all big piles of poo (ooo you know mum is going to make me edit this) many lessons are learned. I have never seen a bigger demonstration of love than I have watching my mum, my sister and lots of friends, care for my dad over the past 5 years. I feel very privileged to have seen these great acts of love in such seemingly small moments.
My mum and my dad are my heroes
In honor of Stan the Man.......
have a cup of tea with a bikkie or 17, watch some football (cheer for celtic preferably or if you are part of the sasanach crew, Liverpool will do), bellow at the top of your lungs in the vain hope that Scotland win the rugby against some foreign foe, tell a joke, play some tennis, help someone whose having a hard time, never look down upon anyone, draw a cartoon, give the folks around you that you love a big hug and a tickle.
